I hand build ceramic sculptural objects. Fundamental to my practice is experimentation, so I have several series of work. The results, regardless of form, have character and a sense of self as I try to project life and personality into my work. I usually make non-human creatures, “the other” that may be alien to us, yet still can connect with. Their aim is to be thought provoking and joyful.
